Benefaction
Lord Krishna in Bhagawad Gita says that among months, He identifies himself with the holy Dhanur Masa or Margaseersha Month. On a New Moon day (Amavasya) of the holy Dhanur Masa in the early hours of the morning known as Arunodaya, Sri Anjaneya Swamy was born to Mata Anjana Devi with “Moola Nakshatram” as his Birth Star.
The Puranas reveal that in acknowledgement of Shri Anjaneya Swamy’s Rama Bhakti and Rama Seva, the three hundred and thirty million Devas proclaimed that Shri Anjaneyaswamy in the Panchamukha Swaroopam will be the Brahma for the next yuga i.e. after Kaliyuga.
Lord Anjaneyaswamy is Godliness personified, ever eager to shower His Grace on His devotees and Sri Rama Bhakthas for generations. It is well known that the mere act of allowing Him to reside in one’s thoughts will earn the following eight boons from Him.
Intellect, Strength, Fame, Courage, Fearlessness, Good Health, Liveliness and Righteous Eloquence.
